Trish explains to Dante that a dark cult had taken up residence in the manor and had been attempting to revive their dark lord. After proving himself to be the true son of Sparda, Dante follows Trish to Mallet Island, the secluded home of a massive, crumbling manor. Years later, a mysterious woman named Trish explodes into the office of a demon hunter named Dante.
